Venu received his BTech degree in EE from IIT Madras in 1986 and PhD from Columbia University, NY in 1990. He then worked at Texas Instruments Research, Bell Labs and Broadcom Corp until 2004, when he returned to TI-India heading the Broadband and Wireless activities here. In 2007 he left TI and started a Medical devices company, Angiometrix. He is currently a Director at Analog Devices.
