Graduate Student, Anthony Lab

I’m a PhD student developing Quantitative Ultrasound (QUS) techniques to better understand muscle health. As part of my studies in the Harvard/MIT Health Sciences and Technology program, I take both clinical courses at Harvard Medical School and technical classes in computer science at MIT.

Over the years, I’ve had diverse experiences across the medical device industry, including:
» Master of Research in Medical Robotics and Image Guided Intervention
» Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering
» Industry internship in diabetes care innovation
» Industry internship in pharmaceutical project development
» Academic research in physiological relationship between ischemic injury and vascular growth
» Academic research in applications of quantum cascade lasers
» Design projects relating to global health, robotics, and electronics

These varied positions and projects have given me a unique perspective on the interdisciplinary nature of medical device development.
